A Letter from Our Founder, Krystal L. Currie
Reviving Leaders Collective, Inc. was born from both heartbreak and hope. As a social worker and mental health advocate, I have long been passionate about standing in the gap for vulnerable communities. During my time serving youth in juvenile detention centers, I encountered young people whose lives were shaped by circumstances far beyond their control—poverty, systemic inequities, and limited access to resources that too often determined outcomes before they ever reached a courtroom.
It was in those moments that Reviving Leaders Collective was born, a response to the need for restoration, mentorship, and opportunity. Our mission is to walk alongside justice-impacted youth, helping them rebuild their lives, rediscover their purpose, and rise as leaders within their communities.
Our Purpose
At Reviving Leaders Collective, we serve justice-impacted and at-risk youth who are too often overlooked, underestimated, and underserved. We exist to stand in the gap during critical moments of transition—offering support, opportunity, and hope where systems have fallen short. Together, we believe a different story is possible.
Our Mission
Our mission is to Revive Hope, Restore Purpose, and Raise Leaders by providing reentry support, mentorship, and leadership development for justice-impacted youth. Through programs like Rise & Reclaim, The Justice Bridge, Circle 7, The Builder’s Table, and Legacy & Liberation, we empower young people to move beyond survival and step into leadership within their communities.
